Welcome to Unshared Lesson Plans

Hi There, I'm Sarah Norrbom and I'm a 34-year educator with some lessons to share. I've had a long career in teaching, education management, and all the learning that comes along with those professions. Some of my stories are serious, some hilarious, often they have a healthy helping of both. I wanted a space to share my stories because I've read that it's a great loss to industry when an experienced person leaves and takes all of their knowledge with them, like when they retire. I'm not quite ready to retire yet, but I do have reflections and learnings to share with other educators and maybe just others, who may be able to put some of the learning to good use. If I can spare anyone some pain and suffering by providing a little insight, then I feel I've done my job. Beyond that, and for what it's worth, here's to all the lessons learned while we try to embrace our students and families, and try to make impacts on our communities that serve to support a better way of life today and beyond. Cheers to the Unshared Lesson Plans.

Here's an inspiring sample of one of the programs from my most recent work.
